Animal chiropractic is the direct application of chiropractic techniques to animals. Often used to treat back pain, it can also be used to improve athletic function and help general health.

 

Chiropractic is a health care system which uses the body's own healing ability to resolve issues by working on the musculo-skeletal and neurological levels. 

 

The American Veterinary Chiropractic Association was the first body in the world to train and certify qualified veterinary surgeons and chiropractors in the use of animal chiropractic techniques. This then evolved into the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association as well as the British Veterinary Chiropractic Association.
